Castle Quest on the BBC, Elite on the same BBC and 3D bomb alley on the Acorn Electron.

I also remember Spy Hunter with great fondness - on the SpectrumZX

I cant remember the first game It was on Mac and it was educational 1993?.... The first true game I played on my own computer was back in 95 and it was Mechwarrior 2

ude, the Space Quest and King's Quest games were the bomb! You also forgot the original Police Quest games. I wish Sierra would re-release these games in a box set or something. Those were classics.

Yikes!

I remember King's Quest, thought I was never very good at it. Damn alligators. I had that game for the Tandy 1000, with a whopping 640K of memory. Two 5 1/2" floppy drives. I think my other favorites from that were Chuck Yeager's Flight Simulator, Marble Madness, and some shareware bit called "Bouncing Babies"

Hover came out with Windows '95. You must be a youngin! However, it was still quite excellent, and I enjoyed it very much. A rather challenging and well done game for its age.

Elite, it has to be Elite. It was the only game where I couldn't do one of the most fundamental aspects of play. It was, of course, docking. It was also the game that got me hooked on gaming.

"Huh, this game looks kind of cool, Tank commander middle east wars." or something like that. Good game, had no clue how to play it, than after that, it was generals, CoDd and so on.
