There's nowt wrong with Holland, and Portugal should be in the running to win it. Especially if Brazil keep up their current form (or lack thereof)...

Well....I agree with Portugal,they do look like a fine side.
Holland however have the reputation of self destructing themselves...there's already rumours of bust ups in the camp

Argentina and Spain are on fine form, playing very well - good solid chances. I think England are going to get knocked out in the next round if we lose to Sweden...

Unfortunately it can't happen. In the (frankly very likely) event that Germany and Argentina both win their second round games - against Sweden and Mexico respectively - then they'll end up playing each other in the quarter finals. If they don't then they're out anyway.

Unfortunately I've also just spotted England's route out of the World Cup. Assuming Brazil and Spain win their last matches (against Japan and Saudi Arabia respectively, so very very likely) they'll end up playing each other in the quarter finals. That's the good news, since one of them will be going out. The bad news is that the winner of that game will play England in the semi finals...assuming of course that we actually beat Ecuador...

I think the most likely scenario is a Brazil vs Argentina final. Not just because they're the two favourites, but because they've both got a remarkably easy route to the last round...

Biggest challenge for Brazil is the Spanish... after that, i agree. Brazil + Argentina final.

I doubt England will even make it to the semis. They will probably beat Ecudor, but they are very likely to run into Holland, who have had a fair few extraordinary games under their belts.

Yeah...it'll be Holland or Portugal in the quarters. What a choice.
