Erm...I call mine 'The Computer'.

My desktop back home is tagged "The Mothership," my laptop is "Portafrag," and my PII Win98 tower is "Dinosaur."

Saruman, Borromir, Farramir, Eowyn, Smeagol, Arwen, Radagast, and Isildur (but he's dead now)

I'm getting bored with Tolkien names now, i think I might change them to names of Ummayyad or Abbasid Caliphates, or possibly Byzantine Emperors.

Alright, as nobody is considering this a "ressurected" thread:

My partially fried, very sick, creaking at the seems, VDU crackles on boot up and a pungent "melting plastic" smell worryingly fills the room job is "The Abacus". A loyal servant I just cannot bring myself to totally kill the poor thing.

My all new, all singing, all dancing, all right so you've got a new 'puter so whay one is "The Calculator".

@Taw: WHAT? You cannot just go and change a computer's name! Madness! It has it's identity, history, street cred (or lack there of), you wanna new name get a new machine.

ahhh, with all of the upgrades i have put in i think mine deservs a new name.

Hmm, you know I don't have a name for my computer. Maybe I'll call it the Blockade Runner or The Sterilant since it doesn't have problems very often but it still comes out on top! (with a little help from the guys here of course)
