Computer names

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Computer names

Howdy.
I've been thinking about a thread like this for a while now, but never seemed to actually get round to starting it.
Anyways...do you have a name for your computer?
I know Taw calls his Borromir and it seems another Farrimer...what about others here?

*Waits for The Mullah and the Insurance Man to chime in and mock the name of the Rabbit-God's PC*

Anyone know where that came from?

During my TA fandom phase (hasn't quite left me, mind) I took to calling my PC, "The Doomsday Machine". Any guesses why?

Biohazard. (My parents really loved that one, especally because I picked the name right around the time everyone was freaking out about avian influenza or birdflu as it's commonly known.)

I hope I didn't brain my damage!

Can someone explain to me why it's perfectly legal to put up instructions for building an atomic bomb on the Internet, but it's a federal offence to post a way to get around copy protection on CDs?

You call your computer a name? oooooookay then - do you talk to it?

Agreed...that's just plain weird...

Every XP computer has a name, whether you've chosen to give it one or not. Right-click on your My Computer icon and go to properties, you'll see it listed there under full computer name.

@chips well its more a question of it speaking to me....................
