Freemasonry

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Freemasonry

Hey are there any Freemasons on TLR because I have a few questions that I need answered. This isn't a political discussion or a religious one, and if you're uncomfortable declaring your membership on here, could you email me? Thanks.

Your pal

I'm not a freemason, but I was always under the impression that they were sworn to secrecy, not allowed to talk and all that. Kind of like Omerta. All I know is its not like on "National Treasure". At least, I hope not.

Depends on what you want to know. I have LOTS of info, all on paper, and not all in favor of them. An eye opener if you will.

who'd win in a fight between Freemasons and Rosicrucians?

Post Tue Mar 28, 2006 5:23 am

Freemasons, hands down.

Post Tue Mar 28, 2006 7:26 am

of course they would. Rosicrucianism was (maybe) a Freemasonry front. Or not.

who'd win in a fight between Freemasons and Jesuits

Post Tue Mar 28, 2006 7:48 am

*sigh* Must it always be about conflict?

Jesuits in a head to head fight, Masons in a long haul, as they have more recrutes in every field.

Post Tue Mar 28, 2006 8:43 am

resurgent synarchists are all about conflict.

Masons again, both ways. Of course, if you want to throw OD in with the Jesuits, I'll change my prediciton.

I am not, but my Grandfather and uncle were. When I was a kid I remember my gpa telling me that "they" would contact me should I be deemed worthy as a man. He also talked about how, no matter where you were, if you were in trouble you could call out some phrase and any fellow masons nearby would immediately help.

Unfortunately, at least where I live, when I was approached it almost seemed like a mass recruitment was taking place. But yes, they do have their secrets; my cousin has a book that he won't discuss.

Also, ever been to a freemason funeral? One of these cats qoutes this HUGE monologue word for word from memory. I was impressed. Course i'm a simple farm boy. ;-)

@FD:

A brave supposition to think that the secular freemasons could recruit more than the mighty recruitment machine that backs up the Jesuits.

Not really. Masons are in all walks of life, street workers up to CEO's and they are just as secretive.

Yes. Break out the comfy chair !
