Hey, you dont have to have kids to enjoy building with 'em However, it DOES provide a nice justification when you see a kit - the millenium falcon springs to mind, or the tydirium shuttle- that you'd like to noodle with

Griffon- well maybe not that extravegant. Its safe to say that I have different tastes than that individual in construction technique, but I've done my fair share of Mechwarrior models already (of free design, without any instructions, online or otherwise):

I loved Lego for years, some of my blocks dated from the 50s, but I don't like the franchised kits much, I used to only build stuff from my imagination - giant spaceships, aeroplanes, ships, tanks, buildings. I was also heavily into Meccano (still am) but Lego and Meccano was all there was when I was a little Taw., and my mum used to take great delight in wrecking my creations and hoovering them up.
