Hey Eskie, I''m huntin'' Wabbitsees!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

cash and carrion would be more appropriate, I think I'd have recognised it was you if it hadn't been for the lack of sunlight down in those metal canyons you call streets (Tawakalnistan is a sunny upland country) and the flashing electric lights and stuff and all the noise and traffic. After all, apart from the occasional burnt-out tank, some tractors and the local militias in their Hilux technicals, there ain't a lot of traffic on Tawakalnistan's roads. Well, we call them roads, you might call them rutted dirt-tracks, but the camels cope well with them.

We Tawakalnistanis don't cope well in these crime-ridden dens of urban iniquity, where we fall prey to these types..

..and we find this sort of chaos quite horrible! You never see anything like that on the streets of Tawakalnistan; instead, people happily go about pursuing their innocent hobbies such as this man and his multiple sherbert bottle dispenser.. and look at the smiling faces on these happy citizens as they go off to the local football ground for the day's executi erm charity football match...

..Noo Dworkia is not a good place for us, hunting wabbitsees is a far more satisfying and fruitful occupation. here's the receipt, by the way. Can we have our money back?

"Noo Dworkia" is not a good place for you? Considering the smog and pollution, I would have expected you to fit right in, as it would be the next best thing to smoking "Sweet Aftons".

As for your paltry forces, here we see latest offensive against Tawakalnistan's rabbit hunting dogs:

"That dog won't hunt" indeed.

Hmmmmmmm

That receipt appears authentic ... still ... there something odd about the coding on it, can't put my finger on it just yet.

Post Wed Sep 13, 2006 5:15 pm

I can explain your confusion; the coding is in English instead of Bureaucraticese, the traditional language of the Insurance Men .

I forgot to mention that of the three in the rogues gallery that the Mewllah posted, the most feared of the lot is the dreaded Fox News Cameraman Sound Bite Reporter. All who come before him will have had his character assasinated in public, words put into his mouth that were not uttered and have been cast in the most false light imaginable unless, of course, you agree with the FNCSBR in which case, he'll not want to interview you and will look for someone else to trash.

I am quite surprised that the Mewllah even knew of the FNCSBR's existence in so far as nary a word is said on Fox that hasn't been uttered by the Grand Mufti himself on any occasion.

@Lagomorph

I'm sorry, did you say something?

you told me that receipt was valid for Tawakalnistan because it said "fakir" receipt! "fakir" not "fake" !!!! Still, i should have been alerted by your method of accepting payment (strictly cash only)

and that you said you always travelled with the bare essentials..

and as far as Pox Network roving reporters are concerned, we're innocents in that regard; the only news channel allowed in Tawakalnistan is Al-Tawzeera, in which I admittedley have a slight financial interest.

bah, I'm so angry that I'm going to have to go and torture some wabbit prisoners-of-war, of which we have plenty...

and at least we have a new export commodity to earn us hard-currency!

War is irrelevant.

Rabbits are irrelevant.

Kingdoms are irrelevant.

Order comes from the Borg, we bring order in chaos, you will be assimilated. Resistance is futile!

Our image of perfection......where there are neither male nor female, only Borg.

Bah! The Borg were defeated long ago...

Just toaster ovens with brains - erm - arms and legs.

(Not to say that they weren't interesting mind you, they're my fav star trek race behind the Romulans and Klingons)

Hmm, I think, judgin by those pictures of rabbit POW's we got's a problem on our hands. I think living conditions like those go against the Geneva convention( plus we have proof that the Mullet tortures them). Can someone say Trade Embargo?.

Post Thu Sep 14, 2006 5:53 pm

Unfortunately Jag, stopping GB imports into Tawakalnistan wouldn't be crippling due to the small minority of those who consume it (including the Tawkie on occasion). Still, we do have other weapons at our disposal, but they can wait until the Moolah has finished fencing with the Insurance Man. *Waits patiently*

Exwqueeze me Mr. Mufti but ....

It wasn't me as I'd said previously. Even so, I seem to recall that banking, in general, is still not kosher in your neck of the tree clumps and that you only dealt in cash. And those pictures show dollars being exchanged, not deenarrs. So I question the authenticity of those photos.

I said that the receipt LOOKED authentic but it isn't. Ours say: Phaicque Receipt and just below it would be the record locator number. AND it would have been printed out in laser on a pinkish colored 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper.

And don't con me about the the Pox news. You've been serendipitously acquiring Sky's signal with your Mobile Uhber Cygnal Vacuum Commander satellite dish ... admit it.

someone find me one single mention of wabbit-wights in the Geneva Convention! there ain't none. therefore wabbits is fair game (litewally) And another trade embargo isn't going to do much, we're already embargoes up to the eyeballs, not that we have any money to buy anything anyway, and we wouldn't buy your filthy haram Western capitalist wubbish anyway - everything we need we can make ourselves (or will be divinely provided)

(and if we're really stuck we can nip down to Al-Tawskohs, they're open 24hrs and you get club points on petrol as well now!)

Insurance Man - it's not a satellite dish, it's a very large drinking bowl for the camels at a 30 degree tilt so they don't have to reach over too much.

Rabbits aren't in the Geneva Convention? Of course they are! I quote from Convention III, Article III:

"(1) Persons taking no active part in the hostilities, including members of armed forces who have laid down their arms and those placed hors de combat by sickness, wounds, detention, or any other cause, shall in all circumstances be treated humanely, without any adverse distinction founded on race , colour, religion or faith , sex, birth or wealth, or any other similar criteria ".

(Note bold text) See? Esquilaxes and the rabbitfolk of Esquilaxitavia are clearly covered by the provisions outlined above! In addition, I quote now from Convention III, Article CXXXXIV:

"(1) Any persons, aliens or animals battling against Tawakalnistan will be granted provisions under the United Nations Charter, and are exempted from any actions undertaken in opposition to the aforementioned Nation."

Support from the UN... I'm glad I checked .

I contest in the strongest terms your definition of the word "person" and it's application to rabbit-kind! Indeed, as a mythical creature, a chimaera no less, you haven't even proven that you exist yet! Although I am prepared to recognise your right to exist (although co -existence is a going a bit far!) I am at a loss as to your vague and extended criteria of "persons" if you wish to include genetically-ambiguous carrot-munchers as "persons" and therefore granted the protection of the Geneva Convention.

Don't know if there should be much to contest on the definition of "person."

On the one hand, you have the lapinary furball hordes of Esquilax and on the other you have the enshrouded (albeit that some rather tastefully so) denizens of Tawkalna. Do either grouping constitute persons under Article III?

I say, if one side does, so does the other!
