a little harsh, Wilde. it's just another medium for the atrist to utilise. to blanket *most* computer art as soulless, whatever that means and you must admit that's a rather vague statement, is akin to people who say that photography is a soulless medium. what medium is more accomodating to this *soul* of art that you speak of?
i'm not having a go btw, i know what you mean but I happen not to agree. oh I can barely use a pc for *art* endeavours, I'm an oils/acrylics/gouache/charcoal/caran d'ache man myself. I've tried computer art, I'm rubbish at it - I'm not used to it and I find it an insensitive tool, but someone like Grom would disagree with me there.A lot of computer art is blatantly terrible, partially through lack of knowledge or experience, and partly down to simple lack of talent - which no amount of computer hardware or software will ever replace.
