Movies you love to hate

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Now I am going against the thread maybe, but Van Helsing was indeed a not even half decent drip off... The plot is Lame, climax is non-existant (right hand of god my arse)

The Aliens vs Predator was another load of drivel, the plot was too farsought, the action was just incoherent and among other things, The Alien and the predator weren't really equally matched.

The one im going to close off with, Dracula 2002... its not all that bad, only the backstory doesn't really fit out, its one gargantuan plothole, and its supposed to be the sequel to Coppola's Dracula, in which, Tsepesh was pierced through the heart, decapitated, and burned, yet, in the next film (2002 in this case), he either had the fortune of meeting a wonderfull seemstress, and someone who does wonders with textured skin, or the story doesn't really add up, the movie also said, Tsepesh was captured in London and kept in the abbey, The book and original film (the 1992 one) however differ in opinion, as he traveled back to Transsylvania on his own, and was met at his castle by Van Helsing and party, and was killed there

hah yeah, AVP was terrible - the humans were jammed in for no reason at all and every fight scene between the aliens and predators was very poorly shot, lit, angled, and the costumes were hokier than some classic B movies

i found myself wishing i had an alien to snap my neck for me halfway through

oh i miss all the fun...

Digimon was rather bad, not a patch on the wonderful Pokémon films. whatever humour there may have been in the series was lost in the film, unlike Pokémon which managed to reinforce its message of partnership between human and pokémon as well as show a deeper nature to the pokémon themselves

actually AvP was interesting to me for a completely different reason (although it was a rather poor and pointless film experience) the underground city of the Predators seemed inspired by Lovecraft's descriptions of R'y'leh, City of the Old Ones, and Kadath of the Cold Wastes. bizarre geometry, shifting blocks, disturbing and unearthly carvings, buried underneath the Antarctic ice sheet for millenia - at times it seemed like At the Mountains of Madness come to life! that part was really well done and the only time the godawful film piqued my interest.

the AvP comics by Dark Horse were much better.

so there.

Star Trek - One of the most sickest Science fiction I have ever seen, bad actors, bad storyline (if there even is any), and very unrealistic environment...
I hate the 1 sec to 10 Megawarp stuff, as it seems unrealistic and basically all the battles are just 2 ships facing off eachother and launching Torps or shooting with phasers at each other, I mean, it could have tactical fighter wings, to disable enemy Starship's engines etc.
And armour.... was it 5 cm...
They could atleast think ahead what happens after the shields are down...
Well, that's just my opinion and I just dont like it, thou it makes me laugh sometimes...
