He says that a baby dying of neglect is a tragedy, so what about a foetus being murdered? Is that not a tragedy as well?

Oh, and let's not forget Doohan's Alzheimers. He could easily have been functionally dead as a person for a while before this.

Once again, just in case you were accusing me of thinking of it as anything less than that, I condemn what happened to those girls. I just don't mix that with a barbaric lust for blood.

Frankly, I don't understand why death is viewed as an inherently bad thing (though I suppose it is unsurprising in a society in which impermanence is treated as the new devil). Death is an inevitable part of life--so celebrate Doohan's life! But mourning over his death...why?

To use a more Epicurean take on it, impermanence is not a cause for grief but an oppurtunity for creativity.
