This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Ah, but when they redid the original trilogy Yoda was digitized.

Post Tue May 31, 2005 1:39 pm

i refuse to waste my money on the digitised version.

Tell any difference in the new versions I couldn't. Acts like a muppet he still does. Except hair he has.

The new digital versions worth wasting money on are not.

Hard talking like this it is.

the little green bugger manage to do this how does?

I do not want to hijack this thread - but Yoda Talk seems to be booming these days. Just google - and you will find more than 2000 hits. The oldest one I saw is back from 2002 ( Link )
Now:
Thousands of kids believe that Yoda is the mightiest of all; why should they accept that the grammar of that 'infallible' is wrong ?
Even more difficult teacher's job will be, I fear

Ohh, i am eagerly waiting for the first scientific research on "Influence of Yoda Talk in Modern American Literature"

I don't care a beep beep about my rank

@Wilde
Simple: jumble all the words up into some semi-understandable order. 9 times out of 10 you'll sound like Yoda. The other one time you'll sound like John Prescott.

Once you've prepared you're speech try to do an impression of Gollum, then stop slurring your "s"s, remove any references to "The Precious", raise your voice pitch about 9 tones and sound as grave and gravelly as you can.

I have the dvd edition of the OT and yoada still looks like a hand puppet. Dont get me wrong I think the hand puppet has more "life" to it then the ditial version. And I still say that R2D2 is the man . In the whole series that little astromech droid took no sh*te from noone. Ok maybe luke but that is ony because R2 still had fond memories of Anakin.

Blessed Be to all those that still dream of the flight to the stars.

I really don't have a fav character. I think Yoda is, well, like my principal, 3-foot-nothing and lives in a swamp. I don't like R2 because you can never understand what he's saying. But if I had to pick one out, I would probably say Jar Jar just to piss off all the Star Wars fans.

You are an insult to the collective humanity of the world.

Give me your liver!

Fans of Jar Jar, welcome are not.

Wilde, I'd like to see that book, though you should find a better term than "Yoda Talk."

I still maintain that R2 is the coolest. If he can put up with C-3PO that entire time, then he's got to be pretty hardcore.

Killa - I like the cut of your jib. Where can I subscribe to your newsletter?

J Dawg--the name would be "zazie". I did not coin the term Yoda talk, nor did I think of the book. Ask the z gentleman.

Killa--you owe me your liver. Give it up now!!!
