Extremely impressive. Found 60 files and reg entries AdAware and Sybot S&D missed. Don't know if final version will be free, but this beta works great! Anyway, here's the link to download the beta. Try it, seriously.

Everything MS is putting out will be doing that, including games and office apps and windows update.

You can still download it without validation, I chose this option on principle, and set a system restore point prior to downloading. I'm running Trend Micro,Spybot, and Ad-Aware. MS found 92 Registry entries it did'nt like, however, they were all related to Kazaa.

I read that they were creating this, but I did not know that they would release it so soon. I'd give it a try but as Chips said, it requires a "valid" version of Windows. MS ain't scannin' my machine or gettin' my license key!

Esq, I blame you entirely - your starting to make me question why anyone should be able to do anything anymore!

The fact that some companies make these things for free to help the general population of the internet......yet MS will only let you use it if your using their windows program only (which you must also have validated to prove your not a thief by default (of not validating it)) - when the most likely reason to need it is because of their lax internet explorer?!? BAH!

JUst started, and it found a big adware, and ironically , it is Messenger.

Edit - Esq, you might like this one. It will even clean up tracks on your computer as well. I am impressed with it.

i could have used this for my old hard drive. it was spyware galore; things that popped up when i opened my home page in IE, search bars, and things i couldnt delete. i'll download this for sure

so it might be free then?????
