What''s up with hair?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I don't care about tendencies, but I'm not gonna do any shaving and peeling on my legs and arms. People must like me as I am or go to heck.
Women with hairy legs and armpits, of course, aren't that attractive
As for hair on the head, I don't care much. For women, it depends on the shape of the face - for some long hair just doesn't fit, and vice versa. As for guys, long or medium hair looks OK, shaved head - OK if he's a skinhead, otherwise - no, and baldness - well, that just makes the forehead look higher, hence higher intelligence

@zlo dude i had'nt thought of that. i was remembering a guy i knew who had hairy knuckles and strands of hair would grow down form under his shirt cuff onto his hand. i'm not a hair-o-phobe or anything, it's just an observation.

on the ware lupine, full moon, barking mad thing though maybe Sylver posted this thread as a covert attempt to lure out all the freelancing warewolves on TLR

@Indy - I forgot about the testorone aspect of baldness *get's out old physiology books to catch up*

@Druid - How did you know of my plans to eradicate werewolves from the face of TLR? *Pulls out revolver with silver bullets*

I thought DA Skinner on the X Files was very sexy. He was bald.
It's the male "Aura" that gets the women. The whole package in other words.

They want to feel that you are a dangerous person, but will protect them.

ya think so Glock? lol

whaddabout john look pikkerd ( aka jean luc picard ). self styled sexy slaphead and the voice to match, plus the phalic shiny white enterprise to enhance his natural masculinity. i think glock is on to something. warewolves are out this season and those sans comeover are all the rage!!!

p.s. i hope slaphead won't be considered derogatory considering i used it in conjunction with the adjective sexy, therefore obviously meaning it as a compliment. i tried other descriptions but they lacked the poetic assonance.

What does "slaphead" mean, anyway? Presumably it's related to baldness, but I've never heard the term before.

Post Fri Dec 03, 2004 2:33 pm

I think he just used the word because it sounded good.

I don't understand hair, but, to quote Penny Arcade: "Think of something quick: 'Hair!' ... That may have been too quick"

@Codename, having a half-bald Dad, I can tell you if you pat him on the head it makes a definite "slapping" sound

Actually, one of my female colleagues stated that she finds bald men the sexiest. Well, what can I say, I don't look at men this way . However, I would never think of a bald woman as sexy

hmm you're just not used to it thats all

ain't language cool. i thought slaphead was going to be insulting and then a discussion on its meaning ensued.

anyhoo the explanation was spot on...its relating to the sound you'd get if you slapped such and individual on the head. i'll stop there but we've got some great words here i'd best keep to myself.
