What''s up with hair?
Why is hair so double standardized? What I mean is how come people are so deathly afraid of baldness and such, but then again, any large amounts of body hair (by that I mean hair not the head

For me personally, I prefer long hair on women, and am fairly indifferent to short hair, but (forgive my shallowness) can't picture a bald woman as "pretty."
Same with women I suppose. I know there are exeptions to every rule, but from what I've noticed from ads and TV, women don't like bald men.
So why I ask is it ok to have tons of lush, thick hair on one's head, and not on their body?
