Sounds great. Pity I haven't played the game (Apart from the 1st episode of Secret Ops). Without it, the story would lose a lot of its charm

The Sci-Fi channel ran the Wing Commander film last night. I guess (correctly i think) that it was based on the game, but having never played the game before, i wasn't sure. Perhaps it was poorly made, but it had some classic sci-fi concepts that would make me go buy the game, to have half of them. I still think that a properly done freelancer movie would be excellent (amongst fans at least).
