I second the Format-Reinstall

Ive done that one before, my Mums friend had a totally screwed computer, so she tried to repair the XP instillation, but it made another!!
I had to come over, use the secondary instillation to wipe and convert the original drive, install XP on that, then wipe and convert the secondary drive, AND modify the boot record.

You should keep an image on another partition in case something like that happens. It takes me less than two minutes to image my "C:\" partition with XP when I need to .

I don't even know when 180 installed itself, or even felt itself honoured to come on to my HDD, all I do know is that its gone now, and regardng the BSOD, it has come crashin the party ever since that blasted Kazaa was installed.

@TawB, may I ask who you are?? people Generally frown upon donning the username of another user, but at least thats here, can't really imagine it being different anywhere else actually. so Please identify yourself, or better yet, change your name back.

*Shakes head* I did warn everybody about Kazaa you know. You should people *really* try something opensource such as eMule.

Look Loc, I would strongly recommend reinstalling Windows as Kazaa has a habit of trashing PCs. Also, it will take a lot of time an effort to make sure that your PC is free of problems, adware, spyware, etc from Kazaa and other programs. Still, if you want to put in the time... let me know.

Identification confirmed
TawB, scanning:
Original username: AoD
Proof: Obtained

I thought it mightve been taws son, but, alas, no go.

Ive said it before, and my IT teacher says the same thing:
Dop not install KaZaA, or let anyone else. Thankfully, my accident with Kazaa was corrected with a Sysrestore. The reversal point and original Restore point now safely lost in history (i.e. gone)
