yes, youve seen it right, Loc is posting a topic (for info,

OK, im having a little situation here, and the siruation is called "180 solutions"
Its a tracking cookie, yes Esky, im using IE 6.0 so don't start

problem being, Ive seen the removal instructions, and it gives me the creeps.
Don't believe me?? have a looksy for yourselves...

Now what id like to know, is if there are less nerve-disintegrating resolves to the situation, I have a little experience if you might say, with diving into regedit to delete certain keyvalues, but what it says here, just scares the bajeezus out of me, so any solutions are welcome, Thanks in advance..

PS. Ive done an adaware 6.0 scan, it did find it, but is unable to remove it.

*pokes head in the door and see's alot of new faces

My dad just had that on his computer a couple of days ago and I looked up alot on it. The linky you gave is about the only thing I found and I can testitfy that it does work.
You may be pulling you head out but it does get the job done.

No need to waste another post, im back for awhile now. I should have some time to be on the internet. My band just won the state championships here in Indiana and I've had to work alot on top of that.

Still nice to see some of the regulars around.

edit: I just read Erasers post from a couple weeks ago, when did all of this start to come about? I read Bargib retired and had to clinch my chest, anyway, good luck and gods speed Eraser and the rest of the mod's for that matter also....

oh, registry editing don't worry been there just back it up before you change anything otherwise it's easy

Post Mon Nov 08, 2004 7:20 pm

Nasty. Still, there is nothing to worry about as long as you backup the registry and follow the instructions.

IE6? *Shakes head sadly* You should know better old chum .

Spybot Search & Destroy

AdAware SE

You might download these and run them. These together seem to cover most of the ground you need.

<Edit>

Well, you might try Spybot too. I used to run and use both until I decided to try a new
complete package from McAfee.

wolfy, i keep telling you to drive a jackhammer(yes, from SL) through your harddrive. but will you listen? nooo~

anyways, do as the thingy about the regedit says. i dont like it but if you follow the instructions, you should be safe. stop at any sign of the registry on your computer differing from that illustrated in the instructions. and also, backup some of your more important files. incase stuff go wrong, you can drive a jackhammer through your drive as well.

I can't believe this, first im getting all riled up because I want it off my computer, Next thing I know, while browsing TLR, I et the uninstall option for 180 search assisstant, so I uninstall it, turns out I can go into program files as well, to Delete any remains, next thing I know, the screen turns blue
and up pops the message:

IRQL_LESS_THAN_EQUAL
I have no idea what it means whatsoever, so if anyone can shed a little light on it, I thank you from the bottom of what I have left as a heart.

and esky, yes I use IE6, got a problem wioth that son??

The blue screen of death? Why don't you just format the whole damn thing? And tell you sister not to download weird files from KaZaA anymore

*Me*? Have a problem with IE6? That paragon of excellent programming? The program whose very name is synonomous with speed and security? Not me. Never.

In regard to your specific problem Loc, did this error only appear after you uninstalled 180, or has it happened before?
