It seems like something about Radiation...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

No, they are remodelling charaters i think, or just using the models from HL2...

Todays the day the magic happens. Now if EB gets off its ass and calls me about it, i'll be happy. *mutters about EB making him get up before midday*

No, this is not grave digging. I cbf making a new thread, and i started this one.

I've been told tomorrow by my two local stores. That'll give me a bit more time to work out how I can distract Miss Mustang so I can get a few hours play in without her breaking into one of her hissy fits.

I pre-ordered my normal copy of HL2 (not much use of ordering a limited edition, which hits the Dutch shelves 8 december, when your going to Oz for seven months the 6th of december at the store where I work. As it is my day off tomorrow, my boss will be suprised to see me I guess

They keep telling me that it will be available tomorrow as well (Wednesday the 17th). Still, we'll see what happens; they may release it early.

Edit: Supposedly, the game will be released in Melbourne and Sydney at 6pm tonight. The only problem is that the shops will be closed by then .

Oh and there are a couple of HL2 reviews up. One is on Gamespot, and the other is on IGN. Get your own URLs ya bums!

i dunno... the EB at watergardens might still be open... hopefully.

This is probably cos of the midnight release in the GMT -8 timezone.

I can see that one of my locals has it from there stock levels on their website, whether they are selling it I don't know. Might go check now, brb.

EDIT: Yeah they've got em all right, but they're not selling till tomorrow morning. Even my best chinese burn and nipple cripple wouldn't convince them otherwise.

It's here! I have it! I am unable to play it! Damn this unholy day of workitude and it's imposing stance against my gaming pleasure!
Got the collectors addition, it comes in an enormous box which you think'd be full to the brim but nope. One t-shirt, one manual and one, yep that's right one, dvd. All three games HL Source, HL2 and CS Source are stored on the one dvd. Very suprising though is the manual, it's one of those really detailed colour jobbie's that haven't been seen since the 90's. Still I have to wait to get home from work to see how it runs on my nVidia powered beast........I think I might be coming down with something....cough cough.....

I'm still waiting for the damn thing to run in "Offiline" mode. It takes AGES, but the HDD is chugging along so it is doing *something*. Now do you see why I hate PA? *Grumble*

@ff: damn you!

Actually, I nearly up to that bit (I believe). I'm about to travel to "Nova Propekt" for various reasons *hint*. I need to figure out how to flip the damn buggy though!

...I hate to say this, but ive clocked it already. I wont give away the ending, but its 10x more unsatisfying than HL1.

*QUOTE/SPOILER*
"Come on Gordon, we dont have *boom*"
"Time, mister Freeman?"

not to say that its short, its to say ive got too much time on my hands.

I have to say there are two things i absolutely love about HL-2.

Physics
The Gravity Gun. circular saws were never so much fun...

-Love Shark

@Musty: have you had trouble with HL:Source? i cant get mine to work...

@Esky: its called the gravity gun. just like windows, point and click
