Not really. Just confirmed my preorder for Half-Life 2. Here in aus it comes out on the 16th. Man, i cant wait, got the gold edition lined up, now i gotta dig out the old DVD drive.

Yup Im getting the special edition for a copy of HL S. I lost my copy of HL years ago and would dearly love to play it again, especially with freaky cool graphics.

they are converting to the 'source' engine so it will look better but i doubt it will look as good as HL2

kimk - My cousins dislike HL as well. I don't know how you could dislike it, although is does have its share of problems.

As for HL:S, that will be really interesting to play. I wonder if the audio has been remixed for 5.1 as well... hmmm.

Actually this got me wondering how HL1 will look on source? Obviously they are not remodelling the charactors. So how exactly will 90's low pixel models look in pukka DX9 engine. Makes you wonder eh?
