That particular story was inspired by the previous SGA thread

typical Macguyver SG-1 denoument - "thank you Col Macguyver for saving our alien veellage" "Hey don't thank me little fella, thank the Moon's gravitational pull.." bl**dy cr*p. it's as full of egotistical faux-pas as any dull episode of Voyager (and that could get very dull, enlightened only by such class lines as Cap'n Thighslapper's classic line "has anyone seen Neelix's lungs?"

oh for DS9 and B5 godammit I haven't watched anything really good for 5 years now. BG's ok but it's not brilliant. That Enterprise rubbish isn't even worth switching on. 24 is very good but it's not spaceships is it? never saw Firefly. haven't got a clue whats going on in Farscape. Andromeda? please it's, Hercules.

That Macguyver even gets an audience is very telling about how much dross sci-fi there is on't telly these days. What's happened to Coinhead btw? he's rather different these days, isn't he? oh sorry everyone in other countries, you don't know what I'm talking about do you? nasty Taw and his spoilers.

Farscape was good at first, but got dumb, i agree andromeda is hurcules in a different setting(sorbo is a less than mediocre actor if i do say so myself) we need good sci-fi shows, Sci-Fi channel is focusing too much on movies and reality type shows, we need more series!!!!

Fair enough . Still, can you really blame me for watching SG-1 and "Enterprise" (which is pretty bloody average) considering the excrement that is on every channel? From "Survivor" to "Bodywork" to "Australian Idol" it's all trash. At least SG is watchable!

Bah I think Taw doesn't like Macguyver just cause it steals his fame. Whos gonna move to a despotic autocratic state and sell themselves into slavery if the dictator doesn't have a good reputation? I personally enjoy Macguyver, though I can only watch it on days when I don't have school (only on at noon), also enjoy SG-1 sometimes, as long as they aren't doing things that are stupid (i.e. when they saved the alien village of naked people that were sick because their mushrooms weren't growing). Of course, Taw has a point with some of the Star Trek stuff (*cough* DS9). I saw a famous line yesterday: Benjamin! They've come to steal my simbyote! (sp?) *gasp* what will they think of next?
