Anyone seen it? What do you think?

I like it personally. Liked the origional movie, and SG-1. The special effects are much better in atlantis, and has humorous characters, "did I do that?!".

Can't wait till season 2.

I liked the original movie and SG-1 is my favorite show(I don't watch much TV though) I saw the debut of Atlantis and i found it to be an utter dissapointment, its totally lacking the action and characters that SG-1 has. I guess it would seem ok if we didnt have SG-1 to compare it to, but thankfully we do. (Can u tell i like stargate cause of my name? lol I named my clan [SGC stargate command

Hmm, in the pilot episode the Scottish bloke says that the Wraith should be 'bloody hard to kill', and then you get Shepherd taking one out with a sharpened stick. You even see him taking down a Wraith ship with a machine gun.

Tis mad.

lol, i haven't noticed any M-16's being used, they look like MP5's etc.

Discuss away, but try not to spoil anything for we Australians. Here in Victoria we have two hours of SG-1 every Thursday, and I've been told that we have two or three seasons of SG to go. Good ole up-to-date Australian broadcasting!

I never knew that there was a new stargate show... hell, here we're only upto the one where Jackson came back from being outcast from the anchients, and doesnt remember a thing, Jonas is trapped on Anibus' ship about to have a mind download device (same as thor) put in his head, and Lord Yu and the other system lords have turned their back on the SGC. and its a to be continued... grrrrrrrrrrrr....

Lol, i have seen that episode like 5 times, i believe FOX is about at that point, they are showing them every Saturday I think, sad thing is that a lot of people dont realize that the orignal station, Sci-Fi is about 3 seasons ahead of that lol. Anyways, it gets much better!!!
