Sounds nice but...

Imagen that there is a chip in your arm that tracks you,
every move of yours is beeing watched, so you cant do any crime at all!!!
and thats sucks!!!

You will not be able to download Pirate Ware stuff!
or steal anything from shops!
or even you will not get to play JJFFE (the best game ever)
cuse its illigel!!!

And what if something wrong will happen to the chip inside you..
it'll be like a bomb then..or it'll just kill you.

At least its good to put on your pats or animels at the zoo
but not from the inside..

And ninjas should not have chips cuse thay are cool!!!

Every site you come, you get tracked..

And i just love privacy
i hate it when pepole watch me all the time, or when there is a big crowed.

I want privacy.

Frontier whispers: i do enter illigel sites some times... and i download illigel stuff too... so what, thay will put me in jail for 2 weeks becuse of that!?

WE NEED TO MAKE A RIOT PEPOLE!!!

'tis true FD. one of the few good things about our mortality is that people of our generation won't be around to see the culmination of the misery that the world is creating.

Funny thing is that it is being promoted as a means to make the delivery of medical treatment more accurate as the chip is supposed to carry critical data such as "which leg needs to be amputated, allergic to penicillin, has a heart condition, is diabetic, etc., etc."

Which, of course, means that a human or humans somewhere have to encode the chip with this life critical data. So, again, blind faith in this chip will only make the possibility of an absolute disaster more absolutely absolute were the wrong data to be put in a chip or the wrong chip to be implanted.

It is a frightening idea.

Taw dont be surprised if you do see it
the way things are going now...

Post Fri Oct 15, 2004 11:15 am

what? you mean life=prolonging prosthetics or surgery or drugs or gene research *spit* fat chance. I'd never be abble to afford it even if I wanted it which i dont. There''s something profoundly disturbing and wrong with people living unnaturally too far beyond their allotted span. I certainly don't want to live forever. Not with the ways things are going now. I'll have 70 something years and that will do me fine thank you very much.

*ugh* genetics - the very stuff of evil. Nazi science triumphant. jeebus, Mengele would have loved our modern world. oh dam , of course thats right - he helped to bring it about.

tracking devices, genetic manipulation, govt interference in our daily lives - not looking too good is it?

Post Fri Oct 15, 2004 11:18 am

eh no
It might be coming sooner than you think
that was what I meant not that you will live longer

Post Fri Oct 15, 2004 11:34 am

oh i see. well never mind because thats all bad too.

it might well be coming sooner than I think. so? I'm saying that I won't be taking part. I will NOT be microchipped like a stray dog and I will NOT carry an ID card. This is Britain not Nazi Germany. These neo-fascist ideas must be stood up to.

i didn't pay my poll-tax and I concreted in the water meter that was foisted on me. I supported the Miners strike and I took part in the fuel duty protests. I'm a firm believer in direct action and civil disobedience when the democratic process fails the interests of the people. I will not give up my freedoms for anyone, no matter what smart@ss emotional blackmail reason they give and no matter how many dam stupid laws their spineless lackeys in Parliament pass.

"An Englishman's home is his castle" and it's about time people started remembering that. unf when they wake up and realise that the surveillance devices are in their houses and bodies, it's too dam late.

Well, it will probably end up in that you either get a chip or you are not allwed to buy or sell or anything, but ok that is going into things not suitable

If you have a cell phone and you leave it on to receive calls, you already are in the "matrix."

As much as i think we need to do everything possible in the technological age to make things quick and easy, i'm going to really have to side with taw on this.

How are we supposed to know what is on that chip? Just because they tell us its medical records doesn't mean that it is. My medical records are stored on a PC and can be looked up at any time i need something so why do i have to have it in a computer chip bedded in to my arm?

Unf, all this tracking already goes on, not to the extent were it will be in not so many years, but it still happens. When you take up an insurance policy, regardless of what it is, all information is stored on database, your driving licence, on a database, when you register a mobile phone, apply for a passport, national security numbers etc. The list is endless. Data from normal things in life are stored on govt databases. Sure, they can't track our movements yet but with this they will. They already attach motion things on to early release prisoners in the UK to track their movements.

As for a way to stop terrorism, no chance. The stream of illegal immigrants that make it in to the UK everyday would make it impossible to track everyone. What will a little computer chip do to stop a suicide bomber putting s**t loads of explosive in his pants and setting it off in the middle of London or New York? I don't think that this will come to pass at all to be fair. There is already outrage at the ID cards. But unf taw, our country has become soft. With the UK public so unhappy about many things the govt do, we still don't do anything about it apart from moan and grumble. The fuel protests didn't stop the rise of petrol prices and the truckers still backed down after weak promises. If the govt do want these things really badly, then they will happen. But what would happen to the people who refuse?

dang tawl, odd as it may sound, you and i think alike on the govt tracking us and junk like that. i always knew that the govt was experiminting with the animal tracking system in the back of there neck and then going to move it to humans. whats the name of the sattlite that is in orbit that can read a newspaper? not the hubble even though ive heard all kinds of stories on it and that its armed with a laser cannon. also what is the name of the sattlite that has about 12 nuclear missles on it?

i will NEVER get some damned chip planted inside of me!! i'll die before that will ever happen to me....

oh, and i believe a topic correction is in order

instead of:
"Their watching me, I know it!"

it should be:
"They're watching me, I know it!"

*edit*
you know...i think i should move to the Tawalkanian Empire he seems to have good beliefs

well, everyone if this happens just fry it, all you need is to touch it to those little globes with electrity, if you touch the place with the chip to a big enough one of those it will shutdown, or the electricc charge could fry a few of those survailance programs we know and love. oh ya didnt u guys hear that babies at hospitals have chips in their feet from birth tat are deactivated when u leave and activate when u enter that hospital, this happened a year ago because babies are constantly given to the wrong people!
