Sims 2

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I'm more of a Simcity person but I do think that they should make Simcopter 2, with better grpahics, more helicopters and no impossible missions at very high levels. To be honest, I think that Maxis' first games were the best of the lot.

SimTaw would be 18+. Actually it would be a cross between Postal, GTA3, Paperboy, C&C:Generals and Jesus Freakin'.

Ever tried doing what this girl is doing?

Maybe it's better that she sees a psychiatrist instead of playing the Sims...

the feminine population... extremely unpredictable and never to be taken lightly. . . .

i played sims a long time ago, got told off by my dad cause the game had no 'goal'. i mean, wtf?

but there was no goal in the game

thats my biggest problem with the whole series. theres no point. just make people, and watch them. i don't really wan't to get The Sims 2, but , my sister wants it, so i want to get it just to rub it in her face.

I never really saw the point of this game either. I do like building a house, but then you have to tell the people what to do all the time, and to me it's not very fun. I read that the sims in Sims 2 are more autonomous than in Sims 1 but I doubt it would make it appeal to me. My sister will probably get it, so I'll at least have a chance to look at it without having to buy it.

Let's get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!!

I just bought the game for my very soon to be 14 year old daughter. I will post her revelations later................

housemate got it yesterday, 4 hours in character creation... shockingly good fun seeing what you would look like with a mohawk

Actually, my main problem with the Sims is how maxis and EA try to rip you off with 1543151 expacks.

And they're doing this again in the sims 2, just look at the amount of objects they give you(very little). And an expack is scheduled for january. Again.

Sims 2 is booring and unrealistic
as you keep playing it starts to get booring and unrealistic

As usual sims is a game for girls not boys
sims just not sirius enough
insted of focusing on a serious realizm it focuss on a childish realizm

As for me i want an open ended game with a full complete universe with much action in it but its all in my Favourite, Best, Ultimate Game, Dear
Frontier First Encounters
that no game can beats its on-going realizm!
and the Elite\Frontier spirit never dies as the game still has a whole community and the company responsible for it works on expension for FFE
