Sims 2

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Sims 2

Anyone bought Sims 2
just got it, i think its great and awasome!

you can design your character to any other character you like him to be (even yourself)

the game has lots of options unlike sims 1

so you'll probably will never get bored out of it.

just buy it NOW!!!

The Sims is i think is ok for a few weeks. I got very bored as there was, well nothing to do. Sure you can change jobs, raise a family and such, but there was no goal in the game apart from make a lot of money.

When Sims get married in this one, do they actually stay married as in another dirty sim doesn't come along and take them away and the sim can only be married once?

I have a rather irrational dislike of the whole "Sims" series. I think that it probably has to do with the fact that, for me, it's too voyeuristic.

The Sims is enjoyable and exciting for the 1st few weeks but it gets downright boring after that.

i liked sim city 4 but i HATE the sims!

Well I like some Sim games. Simcity 4:Rush Hour i was really addicted to for a long time, still play it occasionally actually. I love the way it always kept you on your toes, even when you think the cities perfect, theres always at least 9-10 more problems to solve hehe, and even when there wasnt city problems, you could just pick up missions and drive around town and such. It made hours go by real fast, you'd start playing and you'd constantly be doing something until the very minute you exit it, thats what I loved about it. As far as Sims the game goes, the first one I havent bought or tried, I really didnt like it, it looked like "SimVirtual Dollhouse" to me for some reason.

I did buy The Sims 2, simply because I heard its extremely good, but the CD was defective so I returned it. This time around what I heard makes it so much better is that you have random-generated goals, taking example from Simcity, so your always having something to achieve.

PS: Anyone play that REALLY old game called Simcopter? I found that really fun, I wish they would update it and make a number 2 with better graphics and all that. That game I found to be really good. Especially the way you could exit your chopper and walk about and such

the idea of an Esquilax-related Sims add-on is about the only thing that would get me to play the Sims. Just think of all the horrific things you could make Esq do! spend days without his ginger-beer, get him a girlfriend who hates ginger-beer, send him down to the shops for ginger-beer but someone else has bought it all, make him listen to rock music without ginger-beer

Sim Copter ROCKS. I still load it up and play it now and then. I liked the 212 (Huey). That and Sim CIty 2000 were the last Sim games I ever really played, unless you count Roller Coaster Tycoon.

What would you call it? Something like Esquisimulaxrum?

I got The Sims 2 a couple weeks ago and love it. The Sims was great but the sequel is much better. The wants and fears thing adds a whole new level of gameplay. Also, the way you can make movies and stories much more easily is great. I made a pancake safety movie and stuck it on the site.

What about SimTaw ? You could cut off Taw's access to cigarettes, booze, and the wife, and have him return to teaching. In fact, you could have him conduct English classes, and see how long it takes for him to go on a withdrawal-related killer rampage .

Done the SimCity thing, but not the newer stuff. I got to look at it yesterday at Office Max, too many addon packs.
