Hi, what type of PC are you running???????

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

A "Labtech" laser mouse? I thought that Logitech had the only laser mouse; the MX1000.

Post Mon Sep 27, 2004 12:41 pm

Okay, opitcal mouse if your picky.

It has a red light coming out of the base = laser in lazy man unprecise terms.

Yeah - its Labtec.

Post Mon Sep 27, 2004 12:43 pm

Post Mon Sep 27, 2004 12:47 pm

Post Tue Sep 28, 2004 1:02 am

Chips - Picky? Moi? Also, laser and optical mice are completely different, damn it! *Thumps table*

Gowser - Mine is a "Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical" .

Indy - What're you laughing at? *Shakes head in perplexity*

@Chips: about the only time you would be proud of 3.5 inches...

I have a question and i'm too lazy to start a new thread. I got an ATi Radeon 9200SE, and is there any way of squeezing more performance out of it without losing quality? i've got Doom 3 running really smoothly at ugly, and decent at somewhat awsome. (all optimized & turbo shadows, no high quality effects, bump & spectral maps, no AA, antistropic textures, 640x480 res, more tweaks), and will Half-Life 2 run at a decent rate?

Post Tue Sep 28, 2004 3:18 am

@Viator: Nope. I've got the same video card. I'm running at medium detail at 640*480 as well. Unfortunately, that's as high as it will go on that video card. Although, you SHOULD be able to run Half-Life 2 with no problems. If it ever gets released.

@mee: amen, I wish vivendi and Valve would get off their asses. I want HL2 dammit!!!

Post Wed Sep 29, 2004 3:30 am

Eh? A 9200SE!?! *Shakes head sadly* It's bad enough that it's a 9200!

Post Wed Sep 29, 2004 3:45 am

@Esquilax: The way you keep shaking your head like that, I'm surprised it hasn't fallen off yet. Too much coffee?

Post Wed Sep 29, 2004 3:54 am

I don't drink coffee . Meh, force of habit. Hmmm, shaking my head could explain my recent headaches...

Post Wed Sep 29, 2004 4:36 am

for 50 bucks it was a good way to boost performance
