This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

2 years from now

in two Years from now will TLR still be around or populated?

A 99% probability of YES!. The people will keep it going and going. It's too much fun not to.

i hope so finalday i want someday to be one of those oldies i just fear that FL will lose its newness due to the fast paced game industry unless there is a sequel...

I see a future i just hope others can too

To prove my point, there is a movie, they made only one and no sequel, called, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It ran eons ago, but still to this day has a strong following. Some things just last for ever.

lets hope TLR is one of em

rocky horror picture show is kept alive by locs sort.

as for freelancer. who cares? freelancer lost its newness along time ago, starlancer is where the real money is, starlancer is still exciting and by god its still cool. the serious gambler should be watching the 45th squadron.

*cough* deliberate mistake corrected

Just thought I'd share a little tidbit:
I got FL back when it came out, and played through it once, then got sick of it, and thought that it would gather dust like so many other games I have...
I picked it back up this summer, and looked for the website that had helped me through parts of the game origenally. Thats right, TLR. I used to come on, read the posts, look in the main site for where to find ships, etc. I thought that the site might be dead or something, but there it was, still very active. Since then, this site has been a big part of my recent life, as FL has, and I hope they both will remain that way.

me too. i just am concerened that all these new gamers cannot enjoy games that are not FPS

I see a future i just hope others can too

Yeah, there are many good FPS's out there: Halo, MOH, Halflife, to name a few. But a ton of people seem to think that the FPS is the only game type there is. Because of that, many other game types are shrinking because FPSs are what are popular now. I'm convinced it is just a phase, however, and hopefully, people will come back to find many of the other great games like FL. Maybe then, MS will see the value of games like FL and make a sequel.

I'm just lamenting the loss of the Adventure game, broken sword is the only franchise that continues to carry the torch. How dearly I would love to see another Monkey Island.
