if you were to go to SA, Chips, you'd find that it's a legal requirement to possess at keast one large wild animal. Cheetahs are a bit flash though, most people have warthogs or hyenas. There's a thriving street corner trade in wild animals, almost every SA market or public venue has itinerant cheetah vendors trying to push cheetahs onto you. Thing is, you can get them free in the bush, they're just *lion* around everywhere.
In fact there are so many wild animals just roaming about, sleeping on doorsteps etc, that the SA authorities have to bulldoze them into the sea, or dump them in other countries during the night when no-one's looking.
