what so resource demanding? corporate servers, and games. proper servers need whacking big meaty processors and fast drive throughput, but games push all system resources to their speed limits.

Now there's a thought folks. Why haven't PC gamers pointed this out to MS?

A solid chunk of Windows OS users are using Win.xx simply because of the games. Meanwhile, MS is pushing XBox more than PC games.

If MS is so worried about Linux or any other OS threatening its monopoly, why are they making the Win OS less and less of a reason for gamers to stay with Windows?
