I haven't been watching that much, but the things I did see were pretty interesting.

I was especially impressed with women's sabre fencing. I tried that once, and from that moment on I had great respect who actually mastered it.

There have been lots of incidents this time, and a few accidents. Russain Fm Shotput, mens gymnastic fieasco, Canadian hurdler hit the first hurdle. You can usually count on a few judging miscues.These are just a few.

And let's not even get into water polo. Anyone see that women's US-Italy match? Jesus, those girls are vicious in the water. I heard that the US team even had to reverse the zipper on their uniforms because other teams would routinly unzip their tops to distract the US defenders. I know of no other olympic sport more vicious than water polo. Where else do you have two teams of otherwise dignified women ripping each other to bits all the while treading water and actually playing? --- VH16
