KAIST < anyone heard of it?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

kimk, doesn't this uni have any "open days" or sth where you could get first-hand info? It's quite difficult for me who doesn't know a thing about this institution to advise sth and the being sworn at for several years in a row, if not more

excellent sig zlo

that uni doesn't have open days. it goes purely by reputation it seems. no questions asked.

That's odd! Oxford and Cambridge both have several open days throughout the year for different colleges and departments and faculties. And I'm sure that the American Ivy League unis are much the same. What makes KAIST that special? It'd be pretty risky just jumping into the unknown like that, hoping that it'll be any good without having the slightest clue.

Sorry. Only know a little bit about the UK schools that everyone else outside the UK would have heard about.

You want to talk about US colleges, I may be able to help out a little more.

ANU is supposed to be a good "all-rounder" Uni. VUT - bleh . Swinburne has some very good staff and courses, but they sometimes lack the best equipment, especially in the TAFE section. As for UniMelb, they are bloody expensive, elitist, but have the best Arts courses . There is also a certain level of prestige that comes with going to Melbourne. For that reason, it may be worth checking out .

VUT st Alburns has got a pretty good computer arts lab, complete with CMA course.
