Got one of my own to add. A pizza made of Bopale(sp) pre-made crust, really good, with a ranch dressing sauce, with cooked ground turkey, cooked potatoes, small size, onion, and chopped raw broccoli with mixed cheese of moz, and chedder(sp) cooked for 15 minuets at 350F. Extra slices can be reheated the next day. Makes a good breakfast.

one dish meals are a toughy....a favourite of mine as a kid was "scouse" - which is back bacon, onions and sliced potato in a pan, half covered with stock...the juices come out of all three and form a thicker more tasty stock.

finalday/ugnaught - I've done a similar dish with chicken breasts in the past...try this:

put your chicken breasts at the bottom of a casserole dish...cover them with a light coating of melted butter. Sprinkle a teaspoon of "paxo" or any powdered sage and onion stuffing over the top of the butter. Add a slice of swiss cheese to the top of each. Pour condensed chicken soup over the lot. sprinkle a final layer of paxo over the lot and bake in the oven. When done, serve with noodles.

OK, a contribution. What I don't remember is whether I've already put this one up for you Fd.

COCA COLA AND CAMBELL'S SOUP POT ROAST

1 Can of Coca Cola - Classic. If you prefer Pepsi, OK, but use the Pepsi version of Coca Cola classi.

1 Can of Campbell's cream of celery soup.
1 Can of Campbell's cream of mushroom soup.

Your favorite pot roasting beef up to 4 lbs. in weight, should have some fat to it.

4 to 6 big boiling potatoes cleaned and quartered. Pealed only if you prefer.

4 to 6 big carrots, cut into halves or thirds lengthwise. Pealed if you prefer.

1/2 bunch of celery thoroughly washed and with all gritty parts cut off first and then halved cross sectionally.

3 to 4 medium sized cooking onions pealed and quartered.

Large and deep pot roaster with heavy lid.

Lazy Man's Approach. Throw everything into the bot. Do NOT add water for the soups. Set preheated oven to 425 F for the first 30 minutes and then lower to 350 F for the next 60 minutes or until meat is cooked through and almost falling apart tender.

Plate up and serve.

Industrious Man's approach. Brown the meat first with a little chopped celery, carrots and onions. Maybe add a bay leaf or two. You can jazz it up with a little garlic if you like but not needed at all.

Cook as before but the browning should shorten the 350 F cooking time. Plate up and serve.

Esq, coke would be better than what a lot of southerners tend to put into recipeis, Beer. Wreck the whole dang meal that way. Almost makes you want to go out to micky D's.

That's ok Taw, feel free to use my material. Of course the "A-List" material is only to be found in real life .

Final - Guiness is ok, if used in an authentic Irish Stew.
