The Venus line-up!

Final - I do not recall that the colour makes any difference, but I would imagine that a neutral or light colour such as white would be useful, as it would reflect more light than a darker colour.
Edit: HERE is some safety information for protecting your eyes during the spectacle. Just thought that it might come in handy.

don't look at it FD! don't let irresponsible Esquilax encourage you to burn your retinas out, just look away! it's not worth seeing anyway, so why frazz your already failing eyes? Come and read some obituaries with me, we can laugh at all the dead people we're older than.

*ahem* I didn't want to point it out but don't you think a great big bloke like you will look a bit silly pratting about with a couple of bits of card in the car-park? why not just watch it on telly and save the effort of buggering about? it's never worth it anyway, all these celestial events are usually toss.

They are saying tomorow, in Ga., to look in the early am to see it. If so, some extra heavy shades should work, that or, some welding goggles. Now that would work as they protect from arc weilding.
ff, how does 29c relate to 85f? That's what it will be here.
