job interview

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Looks like a cool place to work. Good luck with your interview. Make sure if your interviewer is a woman don't stare at her chest. Girls don't like that.

Let's get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!!

Good luck on it ff. Esq, you just didn't think about it first.

Heh, actually I did Final, but I wanted to suprise everyone (including the family) with the news that I had been offered a job. Unfortunately, I have to go through five or more interviews for the position while they trim down over 100 applicants .

Post Tue Jun 01, 2004 3:19 pm

5 more? my field, has a max of 3 interviews and that if nessiary. You apply at the property and interview with the manager, and if you are appling for my job, Supervisor, an area manager interviews you too. Rarely goes to Director of Maintenance. Goo luck on yours as well.

HA! Mine had one, and if your stupid enough to turn up (or intelligent enough to find the location of the interview), they give you a job

Post Tue Jun 01, 2004 3:26 pm

Thank you, Final. I "gunned" in the interview (I always do), but it's for a shire Council job, so they are extra selective (see "anal" ), which makes things much more difficult. I don't know if I want it anyway. It would be great, but it is an SQL position, and I've been trained in, and enjoy, networking. Still, you have to start somewhere.

Chips - *Sniff* Lucky bastard.

Well that makes things nice and clear *rolls eyes*. What do you mean that you have nowhere to live? Were you thrown out again?

Probably, Archie has this sort of skewed outlook on life after Uni in which his employers house him in a dorm or something.

Good luck ff and Esq, hard luck about SQL work though. If any network/dekstop jobs come up in our Melbourne office I'll let you know. That's if Im not considering moving over there myself, don't know how secure my position is in Adelaide at the moment.

Thanks Mustang, I would appreciate that. As for coming to Melbourne, why not? It's better than Sydney "The Nation's Capital!" (except we don;t have ferries ).
