SuperSize Me

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

SuperSize Me

GReat Movie go see it, if you haven't already, its about a guy who ate nothing but mcdonalds every day for a month, nearly killed his live, gained 25 lbs, Had his triglisorides and cholesteral go through the roof, and it also has the best theme song ever, Avalable for download at Supersizeme.com the offical site

When I was In grade school I refered to me and my friends as the stoners who didn't use drugs to get stoned, we were either naturaly that weird and srewed up or we had been awake for 3 days. Beening Awake for 3 days has all the halucinations of drugs.
But its free, well not really, you have to pay for $100 worth of jolt, and red bull.
And the best part is just as Much Brain Damage!!!!

Y'all should also check out "Bowling for Columbine." The first part's hillarious, the second makes you think. A nice mixture, if you like that sort of thing. Plus, you get to see a kid pull a dozen or so guns out of a normal looking waistline. --- VH16

Whoever came up with "Mission Commision" should be lined up and shot

I really want to check this out, it seems like a top social commentary on the first worlds eating habits. Hopefully it will at least open a few eyes about the dangers of what you eat.
I never really used to give a rats about what i consumed, but lately I've been really concentrating on what i've been consuming and I've never felt better. I would love to see exactly how much damage this kind of food does.

Don't think it's out in NZ yet, or at least I haven't heard anything about it, but I'll make sure I see it when it comes out.

I am just a worthless liar,
I am just an imbecile,
I will only complicate you,
Trust in me and fall as well.

As I recall, they guy in it appeared on Australian TV about a week ago and promoted it. Meh, it's an interesting experiment, but a good movie? That's something else.

Anything can be bad for you if taken to excess and that includes fast food. This shows how good we have it in America and other western countries where one of our biggest problems is too much food. Sometimes I think people like the founding fathers, or the world war 2 generation did us a disservice by making life too easy for later generations. A lot of the things we call challenges are just stupid compared to real challenges that people faced in previous generations. It's a shame that we have so much food in the United States that we have to pay farmers not to grow it, yet global politics prevents us from distributing food to millions of people who don't get enough to eat.

One other thing about this anti-fast food craze. I'm sick and tired of people telling me what I should and shouldn't eat. Why can't these health nuts mind their own business. I'm not stopping anyone from eating healthy, so why is there so much pressure to make me eat healthy too? Besides, how many things have we been told were good for us and now they aren't? How many things used to be bad and now they are good? No matter how healthy you eat you're still going to die. To me it seems a waste to die rich or healthy, I want to die poor and sick. Here's a little joke.

A couple constantly watch what they eat. When they're really old they die and go to heaven. They're looking around heaven and find the cafeteria. Inside there's a never ending all you can eat buffet chock full of delicious fatty foods. The husband turns to the wife and says, "thank's a lot, lady. You've had me eating all that healthy crap for the last thirty years when I coulda been up here having ribs every day!"

Let's get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!!

Responding to the publcity of this movie, fast food spokespersons are complaining that they are being made to look like they are forcing people to eat their food three times a day. They are complaining that of course something like this can happen if people eat their food for all three meals in the day.

*imagines.....*

Micky D's Spokes Clown: You see. Even if we advertise stuff for breakfast lunch and dinner, you shouldn't be coming here to eat breakfast lunch and dinner. That's not fair to us 'cause then you will get too fat for your own good.... and you won't feel so good either and it will make us look bad.... so stop it!

I've never liked "fast food", especially McD's. In fact, it's been many years since I've eaten there, or even at a similar chain.

i just got back from "SuperSize Me"..... I am never ever going to eat in Macca's again. I feel sick.

if you're an aussie, and in sydney, if you want to see this movie - go to palace cinemas in leichhardt. then go and have a proper meal in a fantastic italian restaurant, and realise how lucky you are to live in australia and have lots of different food.

ugggh. still feel sick.

yuck.

Sydney, eh? Interesting. We're getting a nice little Australian group here. Soon we'll be able to do what the UK'ers do, and make jokes that "foreigners" won't get about "King's Cross", etc .

Post Sat May 29, 2004 4:54 am

esquilax, you ever been to london? their king's cross is very, very different to ours..... i think the ho*kers and drug dealers are missing
