Troy
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

thing is, although Kate B's in everything at the mo, I can't ever actually remember her performance except what's on at the moment, then it's forgotten. She's q forgettable. She was good in Underworld but that was a bit forgettable itself.
As long as Clive remembers that he has to survive to become Lev Arris in the future
Other than bodice ripping, Keira's career will be going nowhere in a few years. Sorry but other than being cute and buxom, she's not that good.

Taw, how could you forget those outfits??! I know what you mean though...although I think underworld was underrated. I actually really enjoyed it.
I went to see troy last night. Good movie, better than I expected. Its very "Gladiator" based, especially with the cinematography and the soundtrack...but I found it to have a little more substance than Gladiator. Here's a brief critique in 10 easy steps...
1. Orlando Bloom can't act for toffee.
2. Even I could tell that Brad Pitt looked good in a skirt.
3. The trojan horse was smaller than I expected.
4. The fight scenes are slightly too martial arts based to be realistic.
5. Its pretty bloody, but has obviously been censored to capture the teenage Pitt-ettes.
6. Eric Bana and Brian Cox stole the show in my opinion.
7. Peter O'Toole is looking older than ever, but his acting was superb.
8. Helen of Troy was a let down.
9. Saffron Burrows played Hector's wife, which was a pleasant surprise.
10. Sean Bean looked like he was still in Lord of the Rings.
Think that just about sums it up!

this naked pitt thing has been blown way out of proportion - and I will bet a million on that it was a woman who started that rumour.
There are 3 scenes that I can think of where he was bare chested, one of which 2 naked women had themselves wrapped around him. The only bordering-on-naked scene is when you see him walk up to a girl, but you don't even see his arse...mrs.grom has pointed this out to me several times since last night.
and bloom keeps his kit on all the way through.
So quite frankly, anyone who is avoiding this film because of the rumour of pitt getting naked, shouldn't. He doesn't, its blatantly a rumour that was started by WOMEN in the film industry who want WOMEN to come to the cinema and line their pockets. Utter tosh.

Who was Brian Cox in teh movie?
I liked Bana of course, I also liked "he who played Agamemnon" and "the old and grey dude playing Priam". (Edit: except for his eyes perhaps)
Also, "the one starring as Odyssius" was imo excellent, espesially concidering the relative and in in my opinion way to small part he had in teh movie.
Oh, and the guy playing Achilles' sidekick (not the cousin) was very farmiliar, but I can't place him, who's he?

@ff sorry I forgot about that 2 seconds, blink and ya miss it, blurred semi nudity, essential to the plotline bit This nudity thing is just b*ll*cks...there was nothing in it that wasn't realistic to the plot...and they kept it completely clean for a younger audience. Girls would have got more pleasure from watching Pitt in Fight Club or Se7en.
@finalday the film you're thinking of is "Deep Blue Sea"...where saffron gets wet in rubber grrrr
@nick - Yep, Agamemnon and Priam really showed the "young uns" how to act. Brian Cox played Agamemnon (you may recognise him as being the original Hannibal Lecktor in Michael Mann's "Manhunter" ), Peter O'Toole was Priam (hopefully you may know him as Lawrence of Arabia)and Sean Bean was Odysseus (known in England as "Sharpe", you'll probably recognise him as being Boromir in LOTR). IMHO though Sean Bean played his character slightly too similar to how he played Boromir, but he was still pretty good. I'm not sure which character you mean as being Hektor's sidekick though? Refresh my memory? What did he do in the movie...?
