i dont like the way you hold it. you should have something else to grab orhter than sticking your hand in the bell, it distorts the sound if your not really really good at it

Funny thing is, my school band is going on a contest trip Friday. It's only from 6 AM to 9 PM and we're just going to Cedar Point (Amusement Park, Northern Ohio). Bad thing is I get to spend two hours on a bus with a depressed yet hyper sixth grade girl. *Sighs* What fun...

Well, I'm returned!

Well, it didn't get busted, but after a week of not practicing it got rather sore.

...how did you ever manage to get the right kind of pucker for that eensy weensy mouthpiece?

How did you manage to not get sucked into those gigantic mouthpeices?

(Hrm... reminds me of a joke, I'll recant at the end of this post) Nah, how can you stand something that swallows your lips whole?

Holding the bell isn't too bad once you get used to it, actually.

And I bet you're all expecting a recant of my adventures, eh? *looks around to see bored faces*, well, too bad, then. Maybe later...
