Well, at least these movies weren't as bad as The Avengers. Talk about something that should never have been made.

TLOEG could have been ALOT worse... the only think i thought that was wrong with it was....

too short a ending
the use of cars, submarines, etc when they werent invented
the parts (like with the cars etc) that made you think "ohhh come on!!"

But as far as action, FX, etc goes i thnk it wasnt too bad!

Firstly - Sawyer; what the hell is he doing there? Of all the people they could have chosen... *shakes head*. Secondly, I agree; while the ship and car were aesthetically pleasing, they conflicted with the period set by the writers.

That being said, get back on topic monkeys!

I must say that van helsing was good for those who had absolutley no knowlege of the details of the different legends. however, if it were hard-ass accurate, then the majority of the movie-going public would have been dumbfounded and scratching thier heads in confusion. it all depends on how you look at it.
and i know. the chick in it did a pathetic job.

Vi - For those of us who know something of fable and mythology, there were too many inconsistencies. Still, I expected a brainless action move with dashes of humour (obvious humour) throughout it, and I was not disappointed on that score .
