well it depends, some people do, in which case they're just in it for the looks

on the other hand, some people (like me) dislike it, because it means that they're not eating properly etc.

i think its stupid though, because why put yourself through it just to make some guy like the way you look? if thats all he cares about then screw him.

A couple of things. A lot of girls here in the states, have a low astem of themselves and are unhappy with what they precieve as flaws and punish themselves because of it. They don't realize the harm they do to themselves. I personally am not atracted to overly heavy girls or excessivly skinny. This is a bit old fasion, but to me, its what is inside that counts, in the heart. TV doesn't help with the image problem either.

our Azeri women are rarely "thin" unless they are ill or malnourished, other than a few wives and mistresses of wealthy merchants and politicians who ape western fashions and appearances.

anyway you shouldn't care what other people think, do what suits you best, dieting at 17? is silly and dangerous unless you actually do have a medical problem with your weight.

I think it's more for the girls, that girls become super thin. They want to outdo each other. I can't stand super thin, and most boys will take anything anyway (not something I'm really proud of about my gender though). Super thin is disgusting. I like holding a woman who is soft to my touch, not bones poking through skin.

The other side, too fat is definitely not appealing either, not because of looks, but it denotes that a person probably (perception) is quite depressed or selfish.

It's hard to be around people who are either way.

actually as you get older the personality side becomes much more important than the physical side, after all if you're going to spend the rest of your life with someone, you'd better get on and be good company for each other.

Guys like girls who are thin because guys are superficial. All that crap about personality doesnt come into play until later on. We are superficial and lame, if a fattie was standing next to a fittie then you go talk to the fittie.

when you try and have a conversation with apropriated fittie, 9 times out of 10 guys are just there to check out the rack, there's no interest in the person at all. Sure every guy likes something easy on the eyes, its human nature to go for looks but to have anything beyond a 2 word conversation you need personality. Anyone can spend a few weeks in a gym or eat healthily (except maybe me) but it takes years to get a personality.

Girls with balls does it for me i must say. Girls who are sure of themselves, know what they want, secure. there's nothing i find more attractive than a girl who can give as good as she gets in the abuse department. (note: i have a thing about sarcastic chicks)
