Esq, looked at a KOTOR book for the story line to find out what went wrong, I left people behind and the program could not continue, kind of like Freelancer if you get ahead of the triggers.

"Console port"? Indeed, remember that it was developed for the XBOX, and then ported over to PC. That's why it's so console-like.

Bastila was suppose to stay, but, Carth was supplose to leave with me on the Hawk. The shot showed only me entering the hager and getting on the ship.

I meant, that I went after Malak rather than taking the right way around the bay to head him off. That was what freaked the game. Bastila did not have her part when I did the short cut to Malak. I will have you know, I am very nice to my computer. I only threaten it if it looks at me funny.

I understand. Still, I have never heard of that particular problem in KOTOR before. You should really get that patch .

Finally got some Mods for the game. New robes and armor. And a mod to stop the turret fighters!!! They are as anouying as the pteridactal critters in Morrowwind.

a lot of the hollowen labs guys are putting our mods up there , keeps them nice and neat in one place

Like Ss once said, its a third person rpg/adventure of sorts. Main quests and a lot of side quests. Different weps and armour/clothing to use, and you can go light side or darkside by you choices and responces. Still fun to me, and the mods make it more intersting. I'm trying to get the Revan robes one.

Galaxies, I think, is only on-line, while KOTOR is you against the computer. Kotor is set long before the empire time frame, when the sith were heavily around. Galaxies, only heard bits and pieces about it, some not good.

KOTOR takes place about 4,000 years before the Empire came to power. It's during one of the main wars between the Sith and the Old Republic. It's an awesome setting. Everything you say or do in this game effects the outcome of the game. You can either lean towards the light side of the Force or the Dark Side. There's a lot of gameplay here. Well over 40 hours if you take ALL the sidequests over 4 planets. Star Wars Galaxies? Meh...filthy online crap. Go for Knights of the Old Republic. It's the best Star Wars game since X-Wing.
