Longhorn System Requirements Leaked

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

drive D: is 60Gb, and Drive C: is a old drive i had lying around and used to pt longhorn on, it's 3Gb, small i know.

I like how it's looking, but looks and usefulness are two completely different things. I probably won't buy another OS until whatever comes after Longhorn comes out. I won't even be buying a computer until then.

The the stats are wrong on lonhorns needs if it fits on a 3gb drive. Hmmm, hows the speed of normal operations on it, without a heavy graphics load?

Aod - As has been already stated, that is a BETA that will be more than two years old when Longhorn is released. Therefore, how reliable can it be as a sample of the full OS? As I have said, I don't necessarily believe the specs posted in the article, but a lot can happen in two years in the computing world, so we'll have to wait and see.

I would still love to beta test it. It can't be any worse than a few weeks ago running mandrake 8.1 on an old machine and playing all kind of heck trying to get it off the machine.

this is the seccond most advanced beta release
the newest has only been sent to microsoft employees

i am now back as Aod, after Moderator chips (B*stard who
nicked it ) gave it back. Oh and i am sorry for all the
stupid people who followed my example, and got more
people confused. Damn.
