Star Wars Galaxies has a space sim expansion pack

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

White - It's actually $90 AUD (if you buy retail). It's bloody expensive, I know. I remember a time when you could buy "latest release" games for $69... those days are long gone .

For PC games here in the US, it's always been $50 for what I can remember. In fact a lot more games are going for less these days. With the time-value of money, I'm surprised the game industry is still finding any profits. Either that or they were bleeding us dry when I was young.

The prices of games have risen since the introduction of the GST (damn Howard!), and the vendores have refused to drop them. Apparently, Aus. pays enormous amounts for software, but the vendors say that they don't mark-up the prices. Interestingly, is is actually much cheaper to pay and order Windows, etc online from MS that to buy them in shops.

Okay ... (me thinking) ... I see what the Game industry is doing. To keep prices down in the US market they overcharge the Aussie market. Cheers to them for finding a great way to make affordable games for us yanks. Bites to be you.

Lucky bastards *sniff*.

Fortunately, I get my games at swapmeets (legit copies of course), as they are usually $20 cheaper.
