Star Wars Galaxies has a space sim expansion pack
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

the Privateer mod is out? God is in his heaven, all is right with the world! I so hope the Centurion is there with its breakable nos-cone, the secret compartment for smuggling Brilliance and Ultimate and Tobacco, sex-synths must be on-sale, c'mon I loved selling those things on mining bases, err the Steltek ship and the Steltek gun, Retros for cannon-fodder and that scuzbag Ronan Lynch. Admiral Tyrrel, oh is it all there? I hope so, I really do, u won't see me for 3 months if so...
thx sS, you made my day..

@Taw, the pleasure borgs were in Privateer 2, and it's not exactly easy to add characters to FL, but they have added the voice files ripped from the .tre files in Privateer. This mod is a beta, right now they're having trouble with the drones (apparently replacing Nomad ships with other ship files doesn't work all that well). But I just talked with Warzog and he says he's considering putting the drone gun in as well.
@Mee, I agree. They should offer 3 online games for one monthly rate, only getting one game seems an excessively high cost.

No it doesnt, it chhugged alot even on a cable modem. Every MMORPG gamer ever in history and in the future and in the present will get off his soapbox about his favorite MMORPG and then tell you it runs great on 56k. It doesnt, no MMORPG ever does, I know because I tried them all on 56k and you constantly get disconnected when your not lagging like hell.

Commie (I just call you that ok?) - If ur reffering to me then you should know that I am playing that wiht a 56k modem also and I have fps of 29 (no laggin yet wiht that slow) and ping about 93 in most of the times. I agree that the bigger citys are a problem to me, but thats cuz I have extra ammount of RAM missing (try playin anything wiht 128m these days)
Why are you all critisising the thing anyway? better go and protest in fron of the SOE HQ so we, the onse playing could play cheaper

ff - It wouldn't be a good idea for me to pay $90 for a game that will, in all likelihood, run like a dog, and thus be almost completely unplayable. The only ganes that I have played over a modem have been Quake 2 and Red Faction. They were ok, but on the few occasions I played, there were only a few people on, and those games did not need as much bandwidth as modern games. Besides, I have to get up early in the morning, and I only have one phone line so I would only be able to play late at night, and I would only have few hours sleep. It's complicated .
