I personally do miss the old sigs where people put a bit of artwork into it. I've been meaning to do one for a while.

Well considering this is going to be a thread of people going "I like mine best"
Here's a walk down memory lane with a few ye olde sigs of mine and a few I did for other TLRers over the years


Mad Dog "The Original Spammer"


The craziest of all canucks, haven't seen him here for ages.


Spear and the sig I made that he never used


The one he did use, Spear was the mega Jew of the forum and no matter what the subject in hand was, he always managed to bring up the holocaust.


My first ever sig on TLR, back when Stinger and Bargib would thwack me on a regular basis.


This was an interim sig, never liked it much.


Made this one about a year ago and used it for a while, still quite like it.


Never really used this one, it's a bit big and I think I tried to do to much with it.


The dancing ogre sig, kinda liked this one for it kookyness.


and of course my current propoganda sig.

So there you have it kids, the historical guide through the Mustang Signature and what a joyfull experience it was......wasn't it?........of course it was.

PS. Sorry to you 56k guys, but these are pretty compact pics anyway. Probably not much more the 300k all up.

wow, what a trip through memeory lane. I just used to lurk during the Arcon v. Spear deathmatch challenges of those days (I wasn't even a registered member in those days)

back in the old days esp pre FL when membership was a lot less, you know as well as I do that the server could take flashy sigs, but things have changed, have they not? flashy sigs gets stomped on bigtime cos they eat up server bandwidth, just like big pics do, and there's so many members now that if too many have big kb sigs the place will grind to a halt, which it does every flamin night at tea time anyway

you'll notice you haven't seen a sig from me for months.

@Mustang, I remember most of Them, but not all. I HAVE seen spear around, but he disappeared just after I joined on the Forums.

@The Topic, As I have no webspace to my command I have had only textbased sigs, when I just arrived on these here Forums I was t3h n00b (I still am in fact).
but in that case, your typical Forum n00b I had my name in caps and also my sig was in Caps, TOTALLY!!

It is also coincidental that this was my first post ever on the OT forums of this site. again it can be found here. This had to be removed as I got a little note from Bargib on the Forums to tone me sig a tad down.

My second sig I kept a bit longer, a LOT longer to be precise, it went like this.

Back when I used to change my name on a more regular basis, I tried to match my sig. One of the ones I liked was: "I'm not crazy, I'm a car. And if you don't believe me you can get out and walk."

Mustang - How did you make them? Maybe I should do some dabbling in graphic design; I have been meaning to for months.

Photoshop, as far as picture editing goes you won't find a better program. I'm an absolute novice with it really, some guys make some unbelievable stuff with it.
Greg Martin does all his stuff in photoshop, he's one of the most accomplished computer space artists I've ever seen.

I kind of like my current sig...did some work in PS for it (and gives a straight outlook at my clan)

I do not really remember too many of my old sigs...but I do remember the one I had when I ToLKed.....LikE.....ThIS...but cant find the pic though (darn reinstal )

quite awhile ago (sometime around when i got broadband) somebody had a cool sig with the side of a ship (looked like it was from a game..cant tell) im not sure but his name started with a D

anyway, here is something i have worked on (took me a good 6 hours and it didnt turn out as good. i plan on redoing it so u can actually see the writing.

its supposed to say this:
Wolf
Demon
(wolfy)

EDIT: when i use this im gonna have to downsize it since people are *cough*stinger*cough* picky about that stuff. but i have to work with rather bigness so it doesnt turn out really crappy. (over at other forums people don't even care....and it bugs me to see a sig that is longer thant the actual post...unless its mine)

It's not just Stinger, most of the mods hate big sigs, they make the forum look ugly.
That's very nice work though Wolfy, it's a pity you could'nt get it turn out.
