Black Shadows AKA Urban Legends
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

@Loc I think kusarigama transaltes to sickle(hand scythe) and chain and weight(or is that the toher way around). If my memory serves me right I think it was mostly used by ninjas. The picture Indy posted reminded me of a tonfa. Then I think sickle is translated into kama.
The only reason I know any of that is because I take karate(I'm getting close to a junior black belt) and I watch the History channel too much. If I saw something running towards me in the dark, I don't know what I'd do except just stand there.

@Jagged, you mean Indy?? Indy posted the picture, just to get that straightened.

The Pic posted by Indy is a Kusarigama , its basicly the same concept except the Kusarigama has an added chain and weight to parry sword and/or other stabbing weapons.
Ok Junior Black belt?? I never did Karate but I understand that to have a Black belt you need to be 16 at least.
Third, not only by Ninja's, its mainly a defense weapon, used against weapons stated above.

@ Loc Where I go for karate(Genbu-Kai) it's divided into 2 divisions, Adults and Juniors. They have different belts than the juniors. In the ranks a junior black belt is really a junior with a red belt. If you reach red belt early enough in Juniors you get to go into Adult ranks. Also have you ever met Sensai Demura? Second we call the sickle here a kama, I think it's like a normal farming sickle. Does the battle sickle have anything changed on it?

Reminds me of a gremlin. Did the house have any electrical or technology related problems? Like dishwasher breaking down or outlets not working? Even though a gremlin is mainly fantasy, I still believe some things. I hope it dosen't happen to me. If it does I've semi-mentally prepared myself. I watch fear factor(show on Sci-Fi) and I keep thinking if someone set me up for something like that I would grab something and start attacking.

Yeah those are the sort of things that worry me when I get bad feelings for whatever reason when I'm in bed trying to sleep, or when I'm in a place that's either very dark or has a lot of shadows. It may sound screwed up but I believe there are things like Taw described and more out there. I don't actually fear people that much, since I know the limitations of a human and can predict their behaviour to an extent. Besides, when people come after you they usually do it for some material gain i.e burglary or mugging. If you're outmatched or outgunned just let them take whatever they want and they'll go away.

People like exist you're right, that can be the case but most people will only do something if it means they are better off financially like working at a job. The same would apply to any criminal activity, generally people won't risk time in jail doing something that will get them nothing whether they succeed or not. Of course, then there's the area of organised crime, but then again, the person that interferes with their dealings is asking for trouble.

I once experienced...well, had a dream....well, not a dream...well I'm not really sure, it was so very real....anyway it was in the dead of night I'm not sure what time, but I woke and was looking about my room, and then I looked at the window.....and peering in at me was something that looked and seemed like a demon, or something evil, or whatever. And it wasn't silly, (hornes, forked tail etc) it was a dark figure, and it was looking for a way to get into my room. I had an intense feeling of dread and evil...the freaky thing was my bedroom is on the second story, no balcony or anything.
