Brings tears to my eyes

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Indy, Amazing Grace? I'm sorry but I saw one or two episodes a year or two back and didn't seem too emotional, but hey, whatever works for you.

When I saw Bambi I laughed, then wondered how they cooked it. Thus setting off my career as the peron who does the unexpected and freaks everyone out by laughin in sad parts and crying in the funny or happy parts.

Oh! Sorry Indy. I'm tired and waiting for someone to call, just thwack me if I do anything stupid, like that.

Edit: that does get me emotional too.

I don't thwack. My mental tongue gets stuck to the teethe when I try.

I thought you were being funny anyway. No apologies necessary whatsoever.

Well tears come to my eyes only when dust flies into them (j/k)

Well for the most time it happens when somebody tries something hard to do something for me and I let them down...couple days later it would hit me as what they did and I did not even notice, than I would feel sorry.

But as time goes by I would lose my feelings and once again turn into a "cold stone"...as my sister puts it

The last time I cried at a theater was at the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. The ending is such a heartwrencher. Awesome movie, though. Sometimes I just break down for no apparent reason. I've probably got some issues.

@Indy (or Ed)

I'm just a corny guy I guess. There is just something about Amazing Grace that will make me blubber away like nothing else will.
Well to tell you in all honesty, you are not the only Corny guy here then, Because that happens to me too, especially when played on The Bagpipes.

meezoo, you wanna know what I thought of the end of ROTK? True story too:

I had drunk (grammar?) an entire large/huge/whatever Mountain Dew... by the end of the first hour. By then end I didn't wanna miss any part and so I'm sitting there like "Let's get this coronation over with! I have to pee!" in my mind. "Close that door, Sam!"

Turns out I ran around the corner to the empty restroom instead of go to the one with all the LOTRers in it.

I was just begging to get out of the cinema needing a p*ss...that last 20 minutes for me was a waste of celluloid...but hey, thats another thread entirely.

Some of the more obvious blart-fest films tend not to affect me - its the ones I'm least expecting that get me....such as "Brassed Off" or "In the name of the Father" (or in fact anything starring Pete Postlethwaite)....also Moulin Rouge caught me a bit by surprise, there was definitely a sharp intake of breath in an over-masculine "nope I'm not affected by this...honest" sort of way

I also cried my eyes out when I read this article....have they no shame???!!

Erm, not really. It sounds familiar, but I can't remember it. It happens when you get older .
