Happens to me too.
I'll be on my mountain bike going fairly fast down a trail, looking ahead choosing my line. Then I'll see a big rock in the trail and my mind will go "watch out for the rock, AVOID the rock!". Next thing you know, I've thought about the rock too much, smacked into it and I've become a mangled heap of bike and human lying in the undergrowth.
