Are you scared of the "dark" ?
I watch thrillers all the time, and I don't find pretty much anything scary.

I've seen about 3 people other than me with Dark in their names. Out of the roughly 16000 members...

Hrmm now that you mention it I did have a strange desire to change my name to Dark Mustang.

I guess this should apply to me too . Anyway, I didn't choose my nick - my friends did, but more because of my likings than, say, my nature - I'm a totally jolly fellow
Anyway, people like darkness because it's deep and, I'd say somewhat philosophical (). To me, darkness is tranquility, rest, and contemplation. There's nothing bad in it. Historically, darkness was associated with evil because our ancestors couldn't see possible threats when being in the dark, and it made things scarier that they are.

Seems to me that people want to have the image of a villain because they want people to fear them and be in power over them. Too bad that dark is such an overused word that it has no such connotations anymore. ERGO change dark to something like, evil, or villianous, or loathworthy, or fiendishly diabolical....
