Fix My PC!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Siblings are like that; believe me, I know .

If I HAD a brother who did that, I don't know. I'd probably go postal or something.
I guess I am lucky that I don't. Wow.

Well, having an OLDER sibling is worse than having a YOUNGER sibling because the younger one does in unintentionally, the OLDER one is so up themselves, thinks thay can do anything, and then gets impatient when ur trying to fix the system after they $crewed it up, THAT is annoying, TRUST ME

Fixed for now. You know where I am "when" you need me Bloody programmers, always b*ggering stuff up then crying out for technicians to sort them out then saying they didn't need them in the first place, honestly, you programming twonks are all the flamin' same. Wouldn't let one of you near a PC unsupervised.

how many programmers does it take to change a lightbulb? Two - one to write the programme and another to blame the hardware when it doesn't work...

I liked that joke Taw; classic!

..funny, and with a lot of truth.

I've lost count of the number of times I've heard programmers blame hardware for their rubbish programme not working. The other common excuse is "well I can't get it to go wrong" which always makes me roar with laughter. Oh yeh and "must be the operating system" gets trotted out a lot, never "sorry we ballsed up cos we're cr*p" I've never yet had an apology from a programmer for the nightmares they've put me through.

Why don't they blame MS for creating .NET and C# while they're at it!

Post Thu Apr 08, 2004 5:24 am

C'mon Esqy, not even a programmer is going to bite the biggest hand that can feed them

they do. I quote "it's all that .NET stuff, we didn't write that...."
