510GB from a 200GB HDD?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Actually i read that doing this and putting data on the new space corrupts your data. Not worth the risk. HDs are cheap nowadays anyways. Just buy a second one or something.

Indy - I'm really impressed . Of course I remember DR-DOS! As a matter of fact, Caldera DR-DOS is still being used in Novell Netware 5 ad 6. That's progress for you!

EB - Exactly. They're as cheap as chips, as they say.

Note: I've been a "Port Commodore" for days now, and no-one has noticed. That hurts .

bah - we still have a bbc basic somewhere, and a acorn electron.....somethign like 12kb of memory or something like taht

We have a fully working 386sx25mgz comp at home, with a 47meg hdd running dos6.0, where dblspace makes it 87meg. Have to deactivate the mouse from bootup (in autoexec.bat) to run some games, as it didn't have enough base memory. I still use it to play some retro games when i go home, like Dune2, alone in the dark, monkey island 1&2 and Pirates (sid meyer i think). Cannot beat that thing

@Chips buy the Curse of Monkey Island (3) because it comes with a made-for-Windows MI 1 & 2, It works really well with modern systems. I've never had a problem.

I do not understand how you can get 510GB on a 200GB HDD, especially when the large size that is available using standard tech is a 400GB 7200RPM HDD that has just been released.

*Pats hair back into place* Thanks EB, I appreciate that .

SS is right Chips, just go to sourceforge.net and get VDMSound, and then play the entire MK series in WinXP. Actually, I'm going to put them on my computer now, and play them all. Escape from Monkey Island wasn't supposed to be as good though, buyt I haven't played it yet. Any thoughts on this SS? Chips?
