Terrible, terrible news ... Warlord Bob we send with you ou

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I might see if I can host a server for one thing only, which would be everyone gets a torpmounted ship a star killer and launches it in formation. Might not be a 21 torp salute but it's something

However it may not happen due to time constarints etc and muy sucky bandwidth. Stil CRUK now has part of my savings.

You know I never spoke to him much, but I enjoyed what he had to say and read alot of what he said, I counted him a friend, this loss is a deep wound to me... strange

@Ss, are you still going to e-mail this thread to his family? Hope you do, as it will know how many people he touched and how much he was and is appreciated. It would be better comming from one than many, easyer for them right now. Thanks

Edited For Worth

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was our North, our South, our East and West,
Our working week and our Sunday rest,
our noon, our midnight, our talk, our song;
We thought that Worth would last for ever: we were wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

We'll miss ya
Thats all I have to say

Chris

BYE BOB.

Post Fri Mar 12, 2004 10:55 am

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am that swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

You had a place in this community that will never be forgotten. So long, Warlord Bob.

@Finalday, Rilms already emailed a link to this thread to her. I emailed her twice once right after receiving the email and again later with some of our desires to donate to the cancer research type he was stricken with.

She may not ever look again at Worth's email account. I don't know, I hope she does.

I never knew Warlord Bob, so I never experienced the warmth and personality which the past posts tell us about. However, this news has shocked me.

To Warload Bob, may your body, soul and spirit rest in peace, and may you be forever in eternal happiness. You will be remembered in the hearts and souls of all those that knew you, and all thoses whose hearts you have touched in some way.

To Worth's family and friends, I cannot even begin to imagine the pain, grief and suffering you must be feeling right now. May you be strong during this difficult time. We are all mourning with you.

I don't thing anybody can even begin to stress how terrible this news is. The death of a person is sad. The death of a person by cancer, is terrible. The death of a young human, no matter what the reason, is unbearable.

Rest In Peace: Worth "Warlord Bob" Riley. May we meet someday.

This cant be! How can someone so young die from a such horible thing

TO WBs family:

Even imagination could not think of how much pain you all must feel right now. You should now know that he is watching us from heaven sad to see how many tears are being droped for him, seeing how much happiness is being destroyed...I asure you the thing he would wish for the most in this moment is for his family not to be devastated by his death, his family not to be eaten by pain, he would wish for his family to honor him by not allowing them to be destroyed by the pain.

Where ever he is I am sure he is reading all this we write from his own PC in devine ethernal heaven high above us, he is looking over us and watching us, keeping us safe from evil and bad things.
